King's Lynn was the first day time chapter in San Antonio and was formed on October 19th, 1987. Two of the original members
are still with the Chapter. Our members hail from various parts of the Commonwealth and enjoy time together working to raise
money for charity.
Chapter fundraisers have included participating in craft fairs, printing and selling the Texas all British and British Commonwealth recipe book, "British Cooking with an International Flair", selling re cycled Christmas Cards (from contributions of used cards from all Texas Chapters) and Designer Floral Cards, benefiting Mountbatten House. Two local San Antonio charities are supported by 'Hands on' contributions monthly - members buying needed items for the women and children in Visitation House, and the adult victims of brain damage staying in Rainbow House.
We invite ladies of British/Commonwealth birth or heritage who live in the north area of San Antonio, Boerne, Canyon Lake or New Braunfels to join us!
