Douglas Bader Chapter was started in November of 1974 and three of the originals are still members!! Our Chapter has the
added distinction of having several mother/daughter or mother/granddaughter members.
The Chapter has been very lucky in attracting many hard working members over the years with a variety of backgrounds and talents. We have always participated in the annual Houston area Bazaar and have worked in any way we were asked to support Mountbatten House. At the Bazaar, we provide Scottish Bears, British Food Imports, and a Fortune Teller!
The important thing about the Douglas Bader Chapter is their camaraderie, the fun they have together and the goodwill they have toward all their fellow DBE friends.
We invite ladies of British/Commonwealth birth or heritage to join us!
